We offer various opportunities for men to connect with other men and become the husbands, fathers and men of God they are called to be. We know it takes a village to survive this thing call motherhood…and we want to be your village! Connect in a small group with other young adults post-high school through mid-twenties as we build community and encourage each other in our faith. We are all in different stages of our faith journeys, but what brings us together is the desire to learn more about Christ and to grow in relationship with others and with God.

A few decades ago, adulthood seemed to begin at graduation from high school. Instead of one specific milestone, adulthood today seems to be marked by several life transitions, whether those be marriage, divorce, career advancement as opposed to just getting a job , having children, and so on. This new reality often leaves me, the Director of Adult Discipleship, scratching my head. Who exactly is my audience? And if that boundary line is fuzzy, when a person becomes an older adult seems equally as porous. Is it when a person qualifies for AARP? I have been getting AARP materials and senior benefits mailings for well over a decade part of the joy of sharing a name with my father.

At Wake Chapel we aspire to provide opportunities for growth and service to all who attend. Our adult ministries offer opportunities for growth in our faith. There are wonderful times of fellowship and times for using our God given gifts. Every Sunday morning adults are invited to be a part of one of our Sunday School classes. Here they will learn and grow in their faith.
